Urban permaculture is more than gardening! In this 2-day series, participants will learn how to plan a permaculture life in the city that includes growing food, creating spaces in which multiple species flourish (including people!), creating community, and initiating neighbourhood change. Day one will explore permaculture ethics, philosophy, principles and practices with a focus on the urban/suburban context. Day two will be a dynamic process in which participants devise their own permaculture plan in discussion with the instructor and other participants.
